Inscription on back: "Pullman 'Typhena' all wood 8-section lounge, open-platform observation on the rear of the first 'Scenic Limited' train, an all-Pullman five car consist operated by the Denver and Rio Grande only during the summer season of 1906 starting June 3rd. George L. Beam photo at Burnham Shops, Denver, CO, June 2, 1906. Built 9 June 1896 by Pullman Car Works, lot 1668, Plan 644D, modified to floor plan 644G about 1900. In service on Colorado Midland 1900-1901, on D & RG Summer 1906. Retired and dismantled November, 1914"
