South Chicago - Mexican Independence Day Parade

Nina Margarita Vorduzco, parade Queen, 1957. South Chicago's is the oldest Mexican Independence Day Parade in Chicago and is a very popular local event. The parade is heading east on 92nd Street. Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, oldest Mexican parish in Chicago founded in 1923, is visible in the background.
