Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln

Black-and-white carte-de-visite containing oval portrait photographs of President Abraham Lincoln and Mary Todd Lincoln, each within embossed frames surrounded by embossed American flags, an eagle, leafy branches, and Union shield. Abraham's portrait is variation of O-91 taken by Anthony Berger at Brady's Washington gallery on February 9, 1864. Mary's portrait is presumably ML O-23 taken by E & H.T. Anthony Company in Washington, D.C. in 1863.
